What materials can I use?

You can use whatever materials you wish, paints, crayons, felt tips, computer generated printout, etc. Bright, eye catching colours are encouraged.

However, so that we can copy the image do not use glitter or silver paper in making your drawing. It is OK to use a computer if you wish but it must all be the pupil’s own work. Clipart or images from the Internet cannot be used because of copyright issues.

What size should my drawing be?

Please clearly provide:
• The child’s name
• The child’s age at last birthday
• The name and postcode of your school

Do I need parental permission to enter the competition?

We would hope to feature the name, age and school of the winner on the marketing material and the parents of winners will need to indicate that they are happy with that, but we will confirm this with schools and parents prior to
publication of the winning images. Winners will need their parents to sign a form to permit reproduction of the drawing.

What will happen to the drawings afterwards?

We regret that due to the anticipated volume of entries it will not be possible for us to return all entries. However we will return the winning entries to the School.

Thank you for your interest in the competition.

Please do encourage as many of your pupils to enter as possible and encourage them to think creatively!

We will work with the winning schools to ensure recognition of your efforts to promote health and oral health.
