Who can enter the competition?
The competition is open to all children aged 6-11.
What should the drawing be about?
The overall theme of the competition is “Healthy teeth and healthy mouths”. We are keen to attract drawings covering any aspect of teeth and oral health.

The judges will shortlist six entries at the end of Smile Month on Friday 15th June 2018. The six shortlisted entries will then be showcased on the Malmin Orthodontics website (www.malminortho.co.uk) for the public to vote on the winner/s.
What materials can I use?
You can use whatever materials you wish, paints, crayons, felt tips, computer generated printout, etc. Bright, eye catching colours are encouraged.
However, so that we can copy the image do not use glitter or silver paper in making your drawing. It is OK to use a computer if you wish but it must all be the pupil’s own work. Clipart or images from the Internet cannot be used because of copyright issues.
What size should my drawing be?
Drawings must be submitted on plain A4 or A3 paper.
What information do I need to add to the drawing?
Please clearly provide:
• The child’s name
• The child’s age at last birthday
• The name and postcode of your school
How will my entry to the competition be judged?
The judges will shortlist six entries at the end of Smile Month on Friday 20th
June. The judges include dentists and team members from Malmin
Orthodontics. The six shortlisted entries will then be showcased on the Malmin Orthodontics website (www.malminortho.co.uk) for the public to vote.
The winner/s will be announced on Friday 13th July 2018
When do I need to complete my drawings by?
The competition will close on Friday 15th June 2018 and all entries should be submitted by that date. Winners will be announced on Friday 13th July 2018.
Where do I send the drawings when they are finished?
Please post all entries to:

Do I need parental permission to enter the competition?
We would hope to feature the name, age and school of the winner on the marketing material and the parents of winners will need to indicate that they are happy with that, but we will confirm this with schools and parents prior to
publication of the winning images. Winners will need their parents to sign a form to permit reproduction of the drawing.
What will happen to the drawings afterwards?
We regret that due to the anticipated volume of entries it will not be possible for us to return all entries. However we will return the winning entries to the School.
